Looking back to look forwards

Our contemporary design ethos leans heavily into the Struthers’ background in watch restoration. With no spare parts supply available for vintage and antique pieces, in 2016, they’d reached the point where they had made virtually every component in a mechanical watch for other brand’s pieces, and it was time to turn their skills into making their own. These first watches had a clear vision, to bring together some of the Struthers’ favourite design developments of the last two centuries, and to make as much of the watch as possible using traditional techniques and heritage machines.

As restorers we know the watches we make will, if cared for, be around for many centuries to come. Our aim is to create pieces that will have legacy, both in design and technical terms.
