The Kelso

In a petite 20mm wide octagonal case, the Struthers' Kelso was available in 18ct white, yellow or rose gold.

The Kelso is the first Tailor-Made watch we created. It kick started the process that allowed clients the opportunity to customise their watch from a series of options designed in house.

Creating each watch to order allowed us to add personalised touches throughout. The winding crown could be made in solid gold or set with sapphire, ruby or diamond as standard options.

The watch was built around a vintage mechanical movement from the 1960s which we refine and refinish. Every movement is decorated with engraved detail which could be personalised to incorporate a name or short hidden message. The balance can be seen ticking away through a magnified window in the case back.

Each dial is crafted from sterling silver as standard, or in gold by request, and decorated using the centuries-old technique of engine turning using a traditional rose engine to create a textured sunburst finish.

Every watch was presented with a certificate of authenticity and its own unique build book – photographically documenting the watch throughout its creation.
