The Kingsley is the second instalment in the Struthers’ Tailor-Made range, which allows clients the opportunity to customise their watch from a series of options designed by your watchmakers - Craig and Rebecca Struthers
Every watch is hand-built to order, a process which takes 3-4 months.
As we hand-craft each watch to order, we can add personalised touches throughout. The winding crown of the watch can be made in solid gold or set with sapphire, ruby or diamond as standard options; though we are happy to accommodate requests should you have another preference.
The watch is built around a vintage mechanical movement from the 1960s, which we have refined and refinished in-house. Every movement is hand engraved, and the balance can be seen ticking away beneath a magnified window in the case back.

The dial, crafted from sterling silver as standard but available on request in gold, has been decorated using the centuries-old technique of engine turning, using a traditional rose engine to create a sunburst finish.
While black lizard is standard, we are happy to accommodate leather requests for your strap. Please contact us with any special requests you may have.

Personalised engraving is an optional extra and can either be incorporated on the case back, or concealed within the watch and known only to the client and watchmaker. Every watch we make comes with a certificate of authenticity and its own unique build book, photographically documenting the watch throughout its creation.

The build time for this watch is between 6 to 8 months and we keep our commissioners notified throughout the creation of their watch with progress updates and photographs from the bench. Our clients are welcome to visit our studio and workshops, meet their watchmaker and see their watch being made.
