Hidden Histories: Rebecca Struthers for The Watch Library
We’re delighted to share that Dr. Rebecca Struthers has contributed to The Watch Library’s Curators series with her latest feature, Hidden Histories.
The Watch Library is a Swiss non-profit foundation dedicated to preserving and transmitting watchmaking heritage through its extraordinary online archive of more than 700,000 historical documents. Their “Must-Read Archives” initiative invites guest curators, including historians, watchmakers, journalists, and collectors, to explore and comment on significant pieces from the archive.
Rebecca was invited to contribute in recognition of her work surrounding watchmaking, vintage watches, archives, and horological history. Sharing a passion for safeguarding and passing on this rich legacy, the collaboration felt like a natural fit.
In Hidden Histories, Rebecca explores the overlooked stories and human connections behind historic timepieces, reflecting the same blend of craftsmanship, research, and storytelling that underpins our work at Struthers Watchmakers.
