2025 A Year in Review

2025 A Year in Review

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on a year filled with exploration, storytelling, and extraordinary encounters both inside and beyond the workshop.

In February, Rebecca’s feature on the iconic Breguet No. 160 pocket watch was published in The Telegraph’s Luxury, a piece that deepened our ongoing conversations about the history and future of horology.

May took us farther from home than ever before, as we headed Down Under for a whirlwind week in Australia. With two talks, workshop visits, and a collector’s meeting, the trip was a huge success. We are immensely grateful to the Master Watch and Clockmakers of Western Australia and the Watch & Clockmakers of Australia in Sydney for their warm welcome and generous hospitality. Our new streamlined production has given us the freedom to focus on our in-house model while also opening the door to more travel and allowing us to share our watchmaking and connect with clients and supporters around the world. The enthusiasm we found on the other side of the globe was both humbling and heartwarming.

August brought two exciting milestones. Rebecca was featured on BBC Radio 4’s Illuminated, where she examined a watch believed by its owners to be the oldest in the world, raising fascinating questions about its true identity.

That same month also saw the release of About Time, Rebecca’s new children’s book co-authored with Alom Shaha. The response has been wonderful, and on 11 September we celebrated its official launch at the Watches of Switzerland showroom on Regent Street. Since our collaboration for their 100th anniversary, Watches of Switzerland have become valued friends who share our commitment to supporting education and improving social mobility in the world of watchmaking. We are deeply grateful to them for hosting us in Europe’s largest, and truly remarkable, watch showroom.

Rebecca’s first book, Hands of Time, has continued its global journey this year, with new translations released in Korean and Turkish, bringing our stories to even more readers around the world.

Looking back, 2025 has been a year of connection, creativity, and meaningful growth. We can’t wait to see where our work, and our wonderful community, will take us in 2026.
