Reflecting on the evolving role of women in the field, Rebecca shared, “Women are far more visible now than they were when I started over 20 years ago. Back then, it was difficult to even name a female watchmaker. While there’s still a notable imbalance at the master watchmaker level—both in terms of gender and racial diversity—progress is underway. Every success story inspires young people to see themselves in this profession, fostering greater diversity for the future. Representation is essential.”
